Luis Alonso

Luis Alonso is the Head of the Corporate / M&A Practice of Clifford Chance Spain and specialises in public and private M&A. Luis has a depth of experience advising clients in the sports sector. This includes advising on the formation of EuroLeague Basketball and on the formation, financing and antitrust dispute for the promoters of the European Super League (football).

Luis also previously advised Sixth Street on its purchase of La Liga broadcast revenues from FC Barcelona and its partnership with Real Madrid in respect of its stadium and the financing for the reconstruction of the Bernabeu. Luis is recognised as a leading lawyer for Corporate / M&A by all main legal directories including Legal 500 (Hall of Fame), Chambers and IFLR 1000.
