Nick Gabay

Nick is a Partner in the Corporate & Commercial team, based in the Sevenoaks office. He joined Thackray Williams in January 2021 after spending the early part of his career at another leading Kent law firm.

Nick brings with him his expertise in all corporate and commercial matters, in particular in relation to:

• M&A (buying and selling companies, MBOs, private equity);
• Demergers, share buybacks, share-for-share exchanges and other corporate reorganisations;
• Articles of association, shareholders’ agreements and other corporate advice;
• Joint ventures; and
• Employee share incentive schemes.

Nick is known for his pragmatic and efficient approach to legal advice. He will get the job done with the minimum level of fuss possible, whilst working in partnership with clients to achieve their objectives.

After growing up in Hong Kong and attending University in Manchester, Nick now lives in Tunbridge Wells. He enjoys music, sports and cooking.
