Braham Dabscheck is a Senior Fellow, Faculty of Law, University of Melbourne, Australia.

Previously, he taught industrial relations at the University of New South Wales for 33 years until 2006 and established himself as an international expert in the field. Among his extensive publications are almost 80 book chapters and articles on industrial relations, economic and legal aspects of sports in Australia, Europe (including the United Kingdom), Japan, New Zealand, the United States and Zimbabwe.

He was a consultant to the International Federation of Professional Footballers' Associations (FIFPro) which presented a submission on FIFA's employment rules to the European Commission in 2001. He has also acted as a consultant to various player associations in Australia. He is a member of the advisory boards of The Professional Footballers' Association and the Australian Cricketers' Association and is a member of The Rugby Union Players' Association Player Agent Accreditation Board and the Australian Football League Players' Association Player Agent Accreditation Board. He was the editor of The Journal of Industrial Relarions from 1991 to 1999 and President of the Australian Society for Sports History from 1997 to 1999.
