David has over 30 years' expertise in the broadcast media and spent 14 years as at the BBC where he was Head of Sports Rights, negotiating deals with a host of world-leading sports rights holders including the International Olympics Committee, UEFA, FIFA, Premier League, Formula 1, Six Nations, and Wimbledon.

For the last 10 years he has advised sports federations and broadcasters on sports rights and strategy. He also works with Shoosmiths as a Broadcast and Negotiation Consultant.

David is a highly skilled negotiator, having agreed hundreds of media deals with the biggest sports federations in the world. He applies the lessons learnt to teach negotiation at the University of Liverpool, VSI and as a private negotiation coach and advisor.
