Kristi K. Thielen is an associate in Eversheds Sutherland's Corporate Practice Group and advises domestic and international clients on corporate business transactions, including venture financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance matters. She has particular experience with clients in the sports industry, including professional franchises and athletes in the NFL and NBA as well as sports betting and fantasy sport operators.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Kristi was an associate in the Corporate & Business Transactions practice of a major global law firm. While attending law school, Kristi served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Troy L. Nunley of the US District Court for the Eastern District of California and for the Honorable Judge Russell L. Hom of the County of Sacramento Superior Court. She also represented clients in federal court through the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic and lectured as a teaching assistant at UC Davis.

Prior to law school, she was a California Assembly legislative aide to the now-Attorney General of California Rob Bonta.
