Kushagra is a senior associate at Krida Legal with diversified and specialised experience in the field of Sports Law and Sports Management. He holds an LLM Degree from the Real Madrid Graduate School in Madrid, Spain, wherein he completed a Masters in Law (LLM) in International Sports Law.

During his time in Madrid, Kushagra gained considerable international experience in advising foreign and national athletes, sports agencies and franchises in cases pertaining but not limited to Dispute Resolution in sport, FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), International Weightlifting Federation, UEFA Control Ethics and Disciplinary Body and several Anti-Doping matters at various National Anti-Doping Organisations across Europe. Kushagra advised clients on setting up grassroots and amateur sporting leagues and academies in Spain and the United States of America.

At Krida Legal, Kushagra advises some of India’s top tier athletes at national and international sports federations along with gaming companies, sports agencies, sportspersons and national sport associations on issues around corporate, commercial and sports law.

His time at a Sports Management company based in India enabled him to make visible impact in the areas of contract and athlete management, sponsorship and sponsorship management as well as  marketing and social media management. Kushagra co-led negotiations with various brands, sports agencies and several other key stakeholders of the Indian sporting ecosystem.

Kushagra is a passionate travel and sport enthusiast and believes in Seeking Discomfort. He has previously represented his state football team in the U-19 category and is an ardent supporter of Arsenal FC.
