Neil is a Director in the Employment & Pensions Department of Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP with considerable experience of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Neil has advised a wide range of sports clients including sports funding bodies, football clubs, and sports marketing companies. He has also acted for individuals including a Premier League referee and player. Neil has significant litigation expertise, covering unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and all aspects of discrimination law. 

Neil has dealt with a number of complex discrimination claims and have participated in a number of successful mediations. Neil also has a broad experience advising on outsourcing and TUPE matters and regularly provide advice on redundancy consultation both collective and individual; managing exits; managing disciplinary and grievance matters; responding to data subject access requests; Equality Act questionnaires and general HR queries.

Neil has been quoted in The Independent and been interviewed on TalkSport Radio in relation to several employment related football matters. He has also written articles for a variety of HR and legal publications such as Personnel Today and the Employment Law Journal. Neil also presents seminars and workshops on a regular basis as part of the Employment and Pensions Group annual training programme.
