Oliver is an Associate in the Commercial, Technology and Sports team.

Oliver has a particular interest in, and experience of, advising sports organisations and businesses, athletes, agents and intermediaries on a variety of issues, including in relation to financial fair play regulations in the Premier League and EFL, domestic and international football transfers and contracts, Formula One/Formula E driver contracts, various boxing agreements and a variety of sponsorship, image rights, endorsement and influencer arrangements.

He also advises a leading football charity on its partnership agreements with governing bodies, clubs and businesses in order to help promote female participation in football. Additionally, Oliver assists with the Mishcon Sports Law Academy – an academic free-to-access programme that gives lawyers, athletes, sports organisations and students a unique opportunity to gain a practical insight into sports law.

As well as his sports work, he often advises clients across a variety of sectors, focusing particularly on technology, media, entertainment and sport. This includes a broad range of work covering IP, commercial and regulatory issues as well as commercial and technology contracts, such as distribution, licensing, supply, sponsorship, outsourcing and SaaS agreements.

Oliver has previously worked at the in-house commercial legal department for Warner Bros, advising the business on a range of commercial and technology matters.
