Josh is a sports, disputes and commercial lawyer at the international law firm, RPC.  He is a senior associate and is the associate lead of the firm’s Sports group.

Josh’s disputes work covers sports and commercial cases in the English High Court, Court of Appeal and UK Supreme Court, as well as sports arbitrations (domestic and international) and sports disciplinary panels.

Josh is described in legal directories as “a real rising star in the sports law arena”, with “excellent judgement, both commercially and as to what will matter in court” and “a standout…who has everything you want in a litigation lawyer”.  Josh represents clients on regulatory, governance, disciplinary and safeguarding matters across a wide range of sports from football and rugby to lacrosse.  Josh similarly advises a range of stakeholders and brands in esports and gaming and content.

Josh was selected as a Sport Industry Group NextGen Leader for 2021, a selective programme for future leaders in the sports industry, and he regularly contributes to LawInSport, Entertainment Law Review and the national media on issues in sports, esports and IP
