FIFA Diploma in Football Law – 3 rd Edition 2024-2025

Dear Sir or Madam,

The development of regulations and legal decisions in football continues to be of utmost relevance to the work of professionals across member associations, confederations, leagues, clubs, and player and agents’ unions.

FIFA has set itself the objective of ensuring that football’s legal stakeholders, and particularly professionals working in the legal sphere at member associations, can further their knowledge of the most relevant aspects of the field. FIFA considers one of its key responsibilities being to continue to promote education and share knowledge. It is against this backdrop that we are launching the third edition of the FIFA Diploma in Football Law, which will feature insights from a host of renowned experts, leaders, arbitrators, and sports lawyers.

Following the success of the previous two editions, the programme offers a practical, personalised learning approach, supported by theory, research and live sessions. It comprises five modules on key facets of football law held over a period of 13 months in five different locations around the world, each lasting five days.

The third edition of the FIFA Diploma in Football Law is primarily aimed at legal staff from FIFA’s member associations and will start at the Home of FIFA in Zurich, Switzerland in the first quarter of 2024. This marks the beginning of a unique journey that will take participants to various iconic football locations around the world.

To guarantee that our member associations can benefit fully from the FIFA Diploma in Football Law, FIFA will cover the full tuition fees as well as travel and accommodation expenses for all five modules for member association representatives participating in the programme.
