EFL releases League-wide anti-discrimination video

The EFL has produced a League-wide anti-discrimination video as part of its ‘Together Against Discrimination’ campaign, which calls on all in stadiums to call out abuse, report discrimination and to respect players and one another.

The video, which features a voiceover from former EFL player & manager, Jobi McAnuff, reaffirms the EFL’s commitment to support any player(s) and staff who wish to take the knee during the 2021/22 season, whilst equally supporting others who choose to challenge prejudice in other way.

The video will be played across EFL and Clubs' social media channels from 6pm this evening as well as at EFL fixtures this weekend.

The EFL has continued to work with players, Clubs and authorities to combat discrimination in the game. The video follows the launch of the ‘Together Against Discrimination’ campaign at the start of the 2021/22 season, which has seen Clubs across all three divisions adopting a unified position on a matchday reiterating that racism, discrimination and abuse is not welcome in our game or in our communities.
