National Football League Taps Genius Sports Group As Exclusive Distributor of Official League Data
NEW YORK, NY and LONDON, UK, April 1, 2021 – The National Football League (NFL) and Genius Sports Group (“GSG” or “Genius”), a global leader in digital sports content, technology and integrity services, today announced a new multi-year strategic partnership to power the future of NFL fan experiences using personalized, data-driven technology. Going forward, Genius will be the NFL’s exclusive distributor of real- time official play-by-play statistics, proprietary Next Gen Stats (NGS) data, and the League’s official sports betting data feed to media companies and sports betting operators globally, including the U.S., where legal. In addition, Genius and the NFL will develop a jointly governed technology center/hub dedicated to driving the future of NFL betting through innovation of NFL’s data feeds, data products, and fan engagement offerings.

Bingoal continues IBIA membership growth
Belgian-based retail and online gambling company Bingoal has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). It will see the operator incorporate its sportsbook operation with IBIA’s global betting integrity monitoring and alert platform. Bingoal will share information on suspicious betting with around 85 other leading betting brands, further expanding the scope of the world’s largest betting integrity platform. It becomes the fifth new member to join IBIA in 2020, following five new members in 2019.
IBIA reports 76 cases of suspicious betting in Q3 2020
The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) reported 76 cases of suspicious betting to the relevant authorities during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020.

BHA responds to Levy Yield for 2020/21
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) welcomes the announcement from the Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) that around £80 million has been generated in Levy in the year ending on 31 March 2021.
Racing was suspended for the first two months of the year and licensed betting offices have been closed or restricted for much of the period since.
